By James Morgan Today I learned something fantastic. So there's this button on Macs that takes all the programs and documents you have open and pings them to thecorners of your screen, showing them all at once essentially. Now obviously, for most people this isn't news, myself included, but heres the little magic i just found out.If you are playing videos in multiple web browsers, and you press this button (or slide four fingers up...themouse pad) they ALL KEEP PLAYING. Now tell me this: what are you going to do next time you're watching porn? Ok, granted, us lowly pc users have nothing new to gain from this fact per say, but think about what it reallymeans. Possibilities, possibilities everywhere. We known that as a nation of people we have been steadily moving towards a multi screen mentality, so surelyit's only logical for a multi-visual, multi screen mentality too, right? If we can Jack off to seven videos at a time, all different 'genres', why can't we watch five films at the sametime, or listen to more than one album simultaneously? Well obviously because that's fucking stupid. If you puton Justice with a Buena Vista Social Club record it would sound dreadful. But that's now, what about ten years from now? What about fifty? We've had a lot of talks about the singularityand exponential growth recently, and truly we are advancing at alarming rates. Its impossible to predict what'sgoing to happen, what's coming next, so trying to plan for it is very difficult indeed. We must always beadapting, growing and keeping up with the changes around us. It's exciting but also kind of terrifying, and all wecan do is run with it, and see what we can do with what ever comes our way. If the bad times are coming, let em come.
