This blog post is a list of the top ten things. It's 100% subjective, although I imagine some of these will be in your top ten as well. They are just things, stuff, anything that I admire and enjoy.
Starting at number 10, we have: Looking out of the window. This is one of my favourite things to do, I’m like a dog excited to get out of the house. I could sit in a car, bus, train, or plane looking out of the window for… well, I could do it forever.
Number 9: Rich kids trying to find purpose. No, I’m not talking about myself here; I am mainly talking about celebrities. I just find it so funny when I see Brooklyn Beckham has a new purpose in life. Last week it was photography, and now he’s a chef. Or Jaden Smith, wearing the stupidest things I have ever seen and either singing, acting, rapping, modelling, or just mooching around with his dad’s money.
Number 8: The fact that I can’t burp. Apparently, when I was baptised as a baby, the priest (who was intoxicated) announced, “Let the Devil leave him,” and as he said so, I burped, which echoed through the whole church. I haven’t burped since.
Number 7: Films. Moving books? Are you joking? That’s the coolest invention. I’m fascinated with all the tricks and tips, watching more behind-the-scenes content than actual films. Who invented this stuff? They deserve a raise.
Number 6: Talking to dogs. I was going to just put “dogs” but then I realised I really enjoy talking to them more than their existence. When they wiggle their butts as I’m hyping them up, that’s just what life is all about. Those funny little furry things.
Number 5: Doctor Who when it was really good. This is a tricky one because I get so upset if someone asks me about the current Doctor Who, but I am specifically talking about the Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and Matt Smith era. It is a simply wonderful craft. At every level, the showrunners, writers, directors, cast, crew, and fans all contributed to great storytelling. I completely took it for granted. I thought all tv was this good. To revive a show, make it better, and create believable, compelling, and genuine characters for kids and adults? That’s an impressive feat. Call me a nerd, I don’t care. This show makes me want to create great stories as they did.
Number 4: Sleep. I’ve put it at this spot because I will only get out of bed if one of the top three spots is happening (If all three happen, I will combust).
Number 3: Hot showers. I believe I am using half of the U.K.’s water supply, and I have no regrets.
Number 2: Sex. It really is as good as they say.
Number 1: Food. I just love food, I’m a fat little piggy who will chow down on anything (apart from coriander, hate that stuff).
