By Rollo SkinnerFriday Reflections was my favourite to date. It was a joy to hear the kind words about our peers and mentors. Through celebrating the individual I couldn’t help but feel we had all become stronger as a group. We must try to carry forward this feeling of unity into the coming weeks as the workload increases and the year fragments into partnerships. Now more than ever we need to be supportive of one another, with the introduction of the rating system and the sudden shift in critique from the mentors. Yes it’s great to have the healthy element of competition and to focus on bettering one’s self but this can’t be at the cost of Fat Penguin’s collective strength.
