November 2019 SCA Round-Up

We Sell or We Die!

This November SCA has been pretty busy in the run-up to the end of our first term.

We began the month launching our Emergency Posters!

We're offering up our student's great creative minds in exchange for one of our fabulously designed limited edition posters to hang in your office. Each poster comes with an SCA button attached to it, which in turn will set off the lights in the studio to alert our students to work on a brief for 24hrs set by the owner

Coming to an SCA store soon we'll have 12 different poster designs up for grabs. If you're interested in purchasing a limited edition poster, contact amy@schoolcommunicationarts.com for more details

We want to give another big thank-you to our new sponsors McCann Health, JKR, Geometry Global and Creature! Your support and contribution helps us fund scholarships every year to those who wouldn't otherwise be able to come to SCA. Thank you!

KRAKin' down on briefs

It's been heating up at SCA as our students got set their first portfolio and juggling live briefs from our sponsors this month.

Most recently we've been getting political again with our brief to takedown the tories in the upcoming General Election in December with a grand prize of £2,000 to spend on their political stunt.

Jay & Bastien won the day with their case study video 'The 12 Days of Brexmas'. Their aim was to get people Christmas carolling around the General Election, letting people around the country know what Brexit they'll be voting for this festive season.

What have our alumni been up to?

We are very proud to have a couple of new hires from our alumni! Congratulations to Martin from SPANK for getting hired at TBWA London, and Philly & Malina from John for getting hired at Droga5.

Well done to Gem & Jem from HUSH intake for getting featured in Ads of the World for their brilliant IKEA campaign 'Wonderful for Everyone', keep up the good work!

Jem Bauermeister from John intake is making another appearance in our newsletter again with her collective Booth Haus who are exhibiting their work in Whitechapel from Thursday 28th November until 8th December! This exhibition helps showcase creative talent and raise funds for resettling a refugee family. Click here to find out about the amazing things they're up to.

Christmas Drinks!

This year SCA student's will be coming to you for Christmas, so we're not throwing a shin-ding this year (sorry!). For friends and family of the SCA, we'll be gathering around on the 19th for a drink at the Market House in Brixton, so drop in and say hi if you have time
