This scab isn’t about penises, it is about time management.

Being in the thick of D&AD it is so easy to forget about all the other little things we have going on. For the past few days I have done nothing else apart from wake up, walk two steps to my desk and open up my laptop. We have become so close now I have decided to name him Timothy.

For the past week I haven’t done any other advertising work either. SMP’s, early morning posters, chip shop, Cannes and whatever else have gone straight out of the window.

Here I am at the end of the week after being tunnel visioned on D&AD with just half a video to my name. It feels a bit disappointing. After working at least 12 hours a day, most of the days, I should have more to show for it.

So next week as a small bit of normality resumes before Cannes I want to be strict on myself. Organise my week by the hour, set deadlines for when I need to have stuff finished by and hopefully I should end the week with 5 pieces of work and a small sense of accomplishment.

Although they do say time flies when you're having fun though. Right?
