A new me

“You couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery” is something I’ve been told loads of times by my friends and for good reasons. Before my recent turn around I was so untidy and forgetful. Every morning I would regularly say goodbye to my mum twice, once when leaving and another when coming back for my oyster card. Now though I can honestly say I’m a new man and have been for as long as two weeks. Coincidentally I teamed up with Dounia exactly two weeks ago and guess she might have something to do with it. It’s strange, now I have become more organised with how I handle work and my calendar, its seeped through into everything else I do. On the weekend I cleaned and tided my room from top to bottom, organised and colour coded my trainers and even polished my door handle. Everything I do now is planned out and in place, I actually considered shaving my hair off as it gets out of place and messy on the escalator at brixton station. Up until 2 weeks ago I was working as a single and really lacked any routine and would constantly put things off until they wouldn’t happen. The thought of working to a plan scared me, it seemed too regimented and removed any fun but was totally wrong. Following and completing a plan gives you an amazing feeling of progress and installs so much energy.
