It's a match

It’s been a couple of weeks since we came back to the asylum. After two month of speed dating we finally paired up with our creative partner. For some of us it’s love at first sight. Marvin Gaye is playing in the distance, your Sainsbury’s “meal deal” tastes like a treat. For the others, it feels like being French-kissed by your Labrador.

The difference to an arranged marriage is that work replaces sex. However, whether it’s bad work or bad sex you know it’s time to leave when it feels as good – if not better – when you do it on your own.

As in our personal life, finding the right partner is often a matter of luck and the reassuring feeling of slipping in a familiar bed may be comforting for a time. But as recently said a mentor “you probably don’t want to marry the first person you meet or you’ll end up wondering who was around the corner.”

I hope you’re in good company or that you’re going to be.
