#Heimat

I am sitting in my living room and packing my trolley to go home to Cologne tomorrow. I am really happy to see my family and friends and to catch up with life outside of the creative bubble.

When I spoke to the last intakes yesterday at our Christmas party, lots of them still remembered the awesome feeling of going back home.

Blaz mentioned in his last weekly reflection that he is looking forward to reflect on all the input we got at SCA and I agree with him. I will use the last days of the year to work on my weak spots and to reorder my thoughts, plans and passion projects while, recovering from the food coma that Christmas brings with it.

Further I can’t wait to talk in German with a really strong German accent without anybody noticing. I never thought that I would ever look forward to leave London and to go back to the deepest country side of Germany where the average age at my street is around 89.

I wish every SCAB reader, mentor and intake a wonderful Christmas and a good start into 2016.
